Does anybody have space in their vehicle for a rider and a bike, heading to the Canmore race from Calgary? Please contact me if you are able to assist a poor student racer. I am willing to split the cost of gas.

G'day guys!

Great to see our aussies doing so well. We're brightorangeevents.com, and we're running an 8 hour in western sydney as we type - 5.5 hours down in fact! Thought you might like to know that your current leader, James "Willo" Williamson made his name at the very track we're racing at - "Yellowmundee", where he won the very first 12 hour that he entered solo at about 18 or 19 years of age! The track also happens to be the "home" track of the 2006 World Champ, Craig "Gordo" Gordon.

Anyways - keep up the results frequency - we've got 500 interested riders here!

Stu.

Come on please people... this is supposed to be the "World Championships", so I know you don't want the world thinking that the best you can do is a blog post that's not even kept updated?

Someone go get the trunk monkey to help...

Yeh! Been hangin online for over 2 hours now waiting for the 6am update. Does anyone have any good tips to stay awake?!! Alternatively does anyone have any contacts at the race, updates via text etc...ANYTHING!!!

More updates! Top TEN elites would be nice. Had I known that your reports would have been so sparse, I would have made other arrangements for the updates.

Fan's said...

Yay, female updates....does this mean more coming? Age group part 3 please......

Across the board how well are the Australian's doing? AWESOME! So great to see all the 'regular' names up the top of a world stage. Many had dinner together during the week and it seems many have sought each other out, and helped each other out, during and after 'the storm', which is just awesome, and so very 'us'. All good. Great to see the organisers back on line and going hard at it with the updates :-)

There was an announcement made during the race -- as I was coming in from a lap I heard it -- about the photography company that covered the race. They mentioned the URL of the company, where we could see the race photos, but at the time my mind was a lot like my body - muddy and tired. There is no link to this photography company on the 24hoursofadrenalin site. Anyone know where the pix are?

I know Kennedy Photo Works was there but no pictures are posted yet. It takes some time to sort and upload as many pictures as they take. I just keep checking.
